We can like, or dislike a film, photo, painting, sculpture, tv programme, dance movement, or piece of music without necessarily being artistic. Art Therapy taps into this human ability and imagination to help us understand ourselves. It can provide a gentle way of examining deeply painful things.

Making art is part of the conversation. It’s a way to bring inner feelings into the open in a safe and contained way, inviting the client to explore them using the many different materials available.
